Picture time for those of you who are familiar with my subjects! Here are a couple of shots of the grandkids and one of Darby the Beagle. Rio's mug shot is blurry but that's what happens when you try to take one so close to a cheap camera. Heh. But don't worry; I have a buncha more far better quality pictures (and some nature/bird shots) that I'll get uploaded soon.
Picture 1: Rio snuggling in my hand. Makes it hard to type, but I don't mind.
Picture 2: Darby doing what he does best - holding down the furniture while he snoozes.
Picture 3: My granddaughter Chelsea and her cat Mesha. That cat loves her!
Picture 4: I caught my grandsons Bailey and Tyler playing in the dog crate and had to snap this one!
Thanks, Hilary! Every time I look at the one with the boys in the dog crate it makes me smile. They are so funny! I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. Thanks so much for the visit. :)
Anne, enjoyed the shots of your grandchildren and pets. What is it about boys and dog crates. My grandsons also liked to play in the dog crate when they were younger.
Can you believe that Brandon graduated this year and will be going to high school. My how the years have flown by. Glad to be back in touch.
From here to Alabama...probably, for this old gal, about 30 hours. That gives me time to stop for a nap. lol
Mary, it doesn't seem like Brandon should be that big! How old is Jordan now? Bailey is seven and his little sister Chelsea is five (she starts kindergarten this year). And Tyler is 10! My, how time flies. :)
Thank you, Frank. The picture of Chelsea and Mesha was actually taken on my daughter's cell phone! Pretty cool, huh? :)
Darby has had a camera stuck in his face since he was five weeks old. I think I have as many pictures of him as I do of the grandkids. lol
I'm the author of THE CONURE HANDBOOK and a Contributing Editor for PET AGE Magazine. I have numerous credits in publications like Chicken Soup for the Soul (five volumes), Cup of Comfort, Chocolate for Women, more than two dozen Guideposts books, Angels on Earth, Bird Talk, FATE, Animal Wellness, Birmingham Parent, and lots more. Occasionally I evaluate manuscripts and book proposals for Barron's, and I do a little ghostwriting and freelance editing on the side. I could spend all day every day with a pair of binoculars pressed to my eyeballs, watching all the fascinating bird activity around my home. But my most important (and favorite) job by far is being Grammie to my three fabulous grandchildren: Bailey, Chelsea and Tyler. They put the magic and music in my life!

What a gorgeous shot of Chelsea and Mesha! That one could grace the cover of a magazine. Wonderful, rich colours.
I really like the shot of Darby too - keeping a wary eye on the wielder of that camera. :)
