Celebration!

I finished the first draft of my book!

And I'm so happy! Now I'm up to my eyeballs in edits but that's okay. I actually did it, I wrote a full length work of fiction. I'm stunned.

:) :) :)

Bird note: Hummingbirds are still buzzing around. I have to refill the front-porch feeder to keep our little visitors energetic and happy. They are so amazing!

Somehow I missed this post... YAY for you! :) I can't imagine how much work and creativity goes into something like that. Good for you, Anne!

How are them eyeballs doing now? And the hummingbirds... and YOU?

Thanks, Hilary! The eyeballs are kinda blurry and so are the brain cells. LOL

I appreciate the visit! You're such a sweetheart. That Frank's a lucky guy. :)

Yes I am! Not the least of which is being beloved of Hilary and having friends like you. :)

Congrats on that first draft Anne. How's the editing going? (Sorry, had to ask....)

And what birds are you getting at your feeders now?

Hiya Frank!

Hilary's a pretty lucky gal, too. You guys are great together. :)

The editing was much less painful that I thought, although parts of it did kind of make me want to run screaming. But it's edited and I've started sending out queries. *gulp*

Ah, winter birds! I'll have to post a list. They've been arriving in droves and letting me know they're here. lol. Seems like I've spoiled them and they definitely remember my feeder! lol

Hmmm....you gave me an idea for a new post. Stay tuned. :)
